Becoming a TelXL reseller



This web site describes what TelXL has to offer in a whole host of areas including IVR and call routing, our range of online configuration and reporting services, a selection of third party integration options and other services for resellers and "virtual telcos". We hope that all of this will make you want to be one of our resellers.

TelXL's relationship with its resellers:


In many cases, companies that we work with here at TelXL have their own resellers in turn who are the ones who sell to the end users. In other cases, we have individuals who resell a whole ranges of telecoms services including us in their portfolio of suppliers.

While we would like any reseller we take on to be worth the time and effort put into teaching them the details of our service, we are not necessarily going to turn people away because they're too small - but we might ask them to work through one of the companies that supports their own resellers. Unlike the larger telcos in the business, we don't see much sense in making it difficult for people who want to make money by selling our services.

As you'll see from this web site, we offer a whole load of interesting and sometimes complicated stuff. We've designed our web site with principles that underpin a programming language called Perl, which are: "Easy things should be easy; difficult things should be possible." With this in mind, you'll be able to quickly pick up how to provision numbers, set up call routing services and view call logs and then develop through the learning curve into the complex and powerful facilities with time.

Making money through being a TelXL reseller:


Our billing model is based on the usual per minute and drop charge billing that underlies all telephony systems, along with setup and rental charges. Our system provides you with complete transparency on billing issues, showing how much your customer owes you, and how much you owe us (or vice versa, depending on the service). We can extend this further to even offer automatic invoicing.

As a reseller you will be expected to deal with your customers enquiries in the first instance, but you will have access to our highly skilled technical staff in turn. In cases where it is needed, we can offer access to a 24 hour fault reporting system.

Each TelXL Client is provided with an Internal Demonstration Account to use for internal services, build demonstrations and install recent service upgrades, which enables the Client to become familiar with the product. There are no installion or rental charges associated with services installed on this account.
